This 7 1/2 year old patient had a crossbite of her upper left central incisor tooth. She also had a crossbite of the back teeth on her left side.

She was treated as a Phase I Interceptive orthodontic case using an expansion appliance to widen her upper jaw and some upper and lower front braces. She wore a lower bite plate to allow the upper left central incisor to move forward out of crossbite.
